Two tools. One complete barcode workflow.
IBE Barcode Generator prints the labels — all 16 formats of the legacy Professional Edition, plus QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417 and Aztec, with paper-template PDF label sheets. IBE Barcode Scanner reads them back — a free iOS and Android app that scans printed labels, QR codes and NFC tags, including two formats no scanning SDK supports and that the app decodes itself.
Both are free, both are open source under the MIT license, and neither asks for a registration code, an account, or a payment — ever.

- One Scan press reads everything: one picture goes to the platform engine and to the app's own decoders, so you never pick a mode
- Reads what the Generator prints — including MSI Plessey and USPS Postnet, which no mobile SDK supports and which the app decodes itself
- Every code in the picture at once, with per-code results and history
- Search Google, copy, share, and open links straight from a result
- No database, no account, no telemetry — scans stay on your phone
- English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語
- Generate — open the Generator web app, type a value, pick a format (say Code 128), choose a paper template such as Avery 5160, and export a print-ready PDF. Prefer installed apps? Grab the desktop build from the Generator releases.
- Print — ordinary paper works for testing; label stock for the real thing. Laser printers give the sharpest bars, and a label of whitespace between codes keeps them separate.
- Scan — install
