IBE Barcode Generator

The label-making half of IBE Barcode Studio: a from-scratch, open-source recreation of the classic Windows program, rebuilt as a cross-platform desktop app and a web app that runs entirely in your browser. Every encoder is custom-written — the project uses no third-party barcode library. Both editions speak English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese. Free, MIT licensed, no registration code.

Run it in your browser

The web edition is the same Blazor WebAssembly build as the desktop engine. It opens in its own tab and runs entirely client-side — nothing you type leaves your machine. Pick a language from the menu on that page and the browser remembers it; add ?lang=ja, ?lang=zh-Hans or ?lang=zh-Hant to the address to force one.

Two ways to run it

Desktop (Avalonia, MVVM): Windows x64/x86, Linux x64, macOS x64 and macOS ARM64 — portable archives plus installers (MSI / dmg / deb)
Web (Blazor WebAssembly): the same live preview and PDF export, running fully client-side — nothing is uploaded anywhere
Four languages in both editions: English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語 — every caption, menu, button and error message, matching the system or browser language until you choose otherwise

Requires the .NET SDK; the web app additionally needs the wasm-tools workload for SkiaSharp under WebAssembly. Full instructions are in the README.
